Base Festival Package
7 days / 6 nights • July 2 to July 8, 2027 • Downtown St. John’s
Your festival home base. Round-trip airport transfers, six nights at a downtown St. John’s hotel with breakfast each morning, plus two of our signature half-day tours fitted around your festival schedule.
Day One: Friday, July 2 – Arrive at St. John’s International Airport. We will arrange a transfer from the airport to your hotel. Check in, freshen up, and head out to the festival’s opening events. Overnight in St. John’s.
Day Two: Saturday, July 3 – Festival day. Performances, workshops and community singing throughout St. John’s. Overnight St. John’s. Breakfast.
Day Three: Sunday, July 4 – Festival programming continues. Half-day St. John’s City Tour fitted into your schedule, a brilliant interpretation of North America’s oldest city, the Most Easterly point in North America at Cape Spear, taking in Cabot Tower and Signal Hill for views of the harbour’s famous ‘Narrows’, and the colourful Jelly Bean Houses of downtown. If you are already doing a city tour, we can switch this tour out with an alternate halfday tour. Overnight St. John’s. Breakfast.
Day Four: Monday, July 5 – Festival day, with a Half-Day Witless Bay Boat Tour to the Ecological Reserve, home to North America’s largest puffin colony and a favourite feeding ground for humpback, minke and fin whales. We will aim to time the boat departure to best fit around your festival commitments. Overnight St. John’s. Breakfast. Boat Tour.
Day Five: Tuesday, July 6 – Festival programming continues. Overnight St. John’s. Breakfast.
Day Six: Wednesday, July 7 – Festival closing day. Performances build toward the grand finale that brings every participating ensemble together. Overnight St. John’s. Breakfast.
Day Seven: Thursday, July 8 – All good things must come to an end. After breakfast we transfer the group to St. John’s International Airport for your flight home, unless you’ve extended your stay with one of the add-ons described below. Breakfast & transfer to the airport.

+2-Day St. John’s Add-on
Adds 2 days / 2 nights • Total 9 days, 8 nights • July 2 to July 10
Stay in the same downtown hotel and spend two full days exploring the Avalon Peninsula’s rugged coastline and historic outports. These are our most popular day trips out of St. John’s.
Day Seven: Thursday, July 8 The Irish Loop – Head south along the Irish Loop, hugging the seabird cliffs and tiny coves of the Southern Shore. The day’s highlight is Ferryland and the Colony of Avalon, the archaeological site of a 1621 English colony, where you can watch active dig work and tour the visitor centre. Stops in fishing communities along the way reveal four centuries of Newfoundland history. Overnight St. John’s. Breakfast & Lunch.
Day Eight: Friday, July 9, Around the Bay – Today we head west to Conception Bay, visiting the historic ports of Brigus (birthplace of arctic explorer Captain Bob Bartlett), Cupids (the oldest English colony in Canada, founded 1610), and Harbour Grace (where Amelia Earhart began her solo transatlantic flight). The day weaves through communities that shaped Newfoundland for four centuries. Overnight St. John’s. Breakfast & Lunch.
Day Nine: Saturday, July 10, Departure – Free morning for last-minute shopping along Water Street or a final stroll through Bannerman Park. After breakfast we transfer the group to St. John’s International Airport. Breakfast & transfer to the airport.

+4-Day Bonavista Add-on
Adds 4 days / 4 nights • Total 11 days, 10 nights • July 2 to July 12
One day on the Irish Loop while still based in St. John’s, then the Excursion Around the Bay becomes your scenic route out to Clarenville. Two nights in Clarenville give you a quiet base for a full day on the Bonavista Peninsula. A final night back in St. John’s puts you close to the airport for departure.
Day Seven: Thursday, July 8, The Irish Loop – Head south from St. John’s along the Irish Loop, past the seabird cliffs and tiny coves of the Southern Shore. Day Nine: Saturday, July 10, Trinity & Bonavista – A true day of discovery. Start in the historic village of Trinity, one of the oldest perfectly-restored towns in North America and a living museum of mercantile Newfoundland. Continue out to Cape Bonavista to walk the same cliffs as John Cabot, and visit the Ryan Premises National Historic Site, telling the story of the inshore cod fishery that built these communities. Time for artisan shops and conversations with locals before returning to Clarenville for the evening. Overnight Clarenville. Breakfast & Lunch.
Day Ten: Sunday, July 11 – Return to St. John’s Travel south along the Trans-Canada Highway this morning, through central Newfoundland’s rolling barrens, returning to your downtown St. John’s hotel by mid-afternoon. A final evening in the capital before tomorrow’s flight home. Overnight St. John’s. Breakfast & Lunch.
Day Eleven: Monday, July 12, Departure After breakfast we transfer the group to St. John’s International Airport for your flight home. Breakfast & transfer to the airport.

+6-Day Twillingate Add-on
Adds 6 days / 6 nights • Total 13 days, 12 nights • July 2 to July 14
Our most comprehensive offering for this festival. Same opening pattern as the +4-Day add-on (Irish Loop, then Around the Bay to Clarenville, then Bonavista), but instead of turning back, we continue west to Gander for two nights in the heart of Notre Dame Bay. Terra Nova National Park, the Come From Away story, and a day in Twillingate. A final night back in St. John’s puts you close to the airport for departure.
Day Seven: Thursday, July 8, The Irish Loop – Day-trip south from St. John’s along the Irish Loop, finishing at Ferryland and the Colony of Avalon. Return to your downtown hotel for the night. Overnight St. John’s. Breakfast & Lunch.
Day Eight: Friday, July 9, Around the Bay to Clarenville – Around Conception Bay on the way out of St. John’s, with stops in Brigus, Cupids and Harbour Grace, then continue along the Trans-Canada Highway to your hotel in Clarenville. Overnight Clarenville. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Day Nine: Saturday, July 10, Trinity & Bonavista – A full day on the Bonavista Peninsula. The historic village of Trinity, Cape Bonavista, the Ryan Premises National Historic Site, artisan shops and conversations with locals. Return to Clarenville for the evening. Overnight Clarenville. Breakfast & Lunch.
Day Ten: Sunday, July 11, Terra Nova & On to Gander – Bid farewell to Clarenville this morning and travel west to Terra Nova National Park, taking in the vistas of Newman Sound and visiting the park’s Marine Interpretation Centre. Continue to the fishing community of Salvage on the Eastport Peninsula for a stroll through town and a chat with locals, then journey west to Gander, your base for exploring the islands of Notre Dame Bay. Overnight Gander. Breakfast & Lunch.
Day Eleven: Monday, July 12, Road to the Isles – The ‘Road to the Isles’ takes us across causeways spanning the many ‘Tickles and Runs’ leading to Twillingate Island, a dedicated fishing community with spectacular cliff-side views, brilliant local art, and stories of the cod fishery that built these outports. We visit the lighthouse at Crow Head, the Auk Island Winery for a sample of their wares, and the Beothuk Centre in Boyd’s Cove. This afternoon we hear the Come From Away story and the extraordinary hospitality of the Gander communities who took in 38 stranded aircraft on 9/11. Overnight Gander. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Day Twelve: Tuesday, July 13, Return to St. John’s – Travel south and east from Gander along the Trans-Canada Highway, back to your downtown St. John’s hotel by mid to late afternoon. A final evening in the capital to enjoy a parting meal and reflect on the journey before tomorrow’s flight home. Overnight St. John’s. Breakfast & Lunch.
Day Thirteen: Wednesday, July 14, Departure – All good things must come to an end and so we bid a fond farewell to our newest yet oldest Province. As you fly homeward it will be with many delightful memories of an authentic Newfoundland experience that will be recalled for years to come. Transfer to St. John’s International Airport. Breakfast & transfer to the airport.

Witless Bay Ecological Reserve – Boat Tour

A short drive south of St. John’s lies one of the most spectacular wildlife sanctuaries in the North Atlantic. You will board vessels and head out into the waters of Witless Bay Ecological Reserve, which is home to over 500,000 Atlantic Puffins and millions of seabirds. If you are lucky, witness majestic Humpback whales breaching just metres away, and glide past ancient 10,000-year-old icebergs.

The Rooms – Cultural Visit

Perched high above the city with sweeping views of the harbour, The Rooms is Newfoundland and Labrador’s premier cultural space – housing the Provincial Museum, Art Gallery, and Archives under one remarkable roof. Guests will be transported by coach and invited to explore at their own pace, following their curiosity through centuries of Newfoundland history, Indigenous heritage, and a world-class collection of visual art. A fitting stop for artistically inclined travellers.

St. John’s City Tour – Guided Driving Tour

This comprehensive driving tour takes guests through the most storied corners of North America’s oldest city. Beginning in the vibrant, colour-washed streets of downtown St. John’s, the tour winds out to Cape Spear – the easternmost point of the continent – before ascending Signal Hill, where Guglielmo Marconi received the first transatlantic wireless signal in 1901, and where the panoramic view of the Atlantic is simply breathtaking. Guides bring the city to life with stories of settlement, survival, and resilience.

On foot is the finest way to feel the pulse of St. John’s. This 90-minute guided walk through the downtown core takes guests past the iconic jellybean row houses, historic churches, and the winding lanes that have shaped the city’s character over four centuries. Guides weave together the cultural, architectural, and human stories of this resilient port city — a walk that is as much poetry as it is history. Will require walking for 1.5 hours over uneven streets, including some hills.

Newfoundland Culinary Tasting
Capacity: 300 guests

Perhaps no experience is more distinctly Newfoundland than sitting in a traditional pub and letting the food do the talking. We will bring your guests to one of St. John’s’ most beloved establishments, where a guided tasting of three iconic Newfoundland delicacies awaits: Cod Tongue or Cheek, prepared in the style that has sustained generations of outport communities; tender, locally sourced Moose; and fresh, briny Mussels pulled from the cold waters of the province. This is not simply a meal, it is an edible introduction to the soul of the place. Will require a walk of up to ~500 meters.
